Digitizing Information
We create beautiful, high quality designs. Let us create that
special design you'd like digitized or you supply the logo or other design and
we will digitize that for you.
Our price is on
time rather than stitch count. We feel this results in a more consistently fair
price to both parties. If your design is composed of several simple but large
objects, the result could be a high stitch count design that took us very little
time to digitize (but a longer time to sew). You're on the bad end of the
bargain here. If your design is composed of 22 small letters that must be hand
digitized, the stitch count will be low but the time to digitize is much longer.
We have a minimum
price of *$75. *$45 per hour after the initial fee. We create cost-effective,
high quality, production-friendly designs.
Digitizing prices
cover scanning your artwork if necessary, digitizing, and sewing only. If your
artwork needs more than minor adjustments for digitizing, you will be notified.
Better artwork means better designs and lower prices. Rush jobs get special
charges.
Be sure you give
us clear instructions for your job because we do charge for rework (unless we
failed to follow your instructions). All instructions must be in writing (e-mail
or fax are OK) and the clock on our turnaround service starts when we have all
the necessary information.
We do give free estimates. You can e-mail a design to us with as much of the
information listed above and we will give you an approximate range to punch the
design for you. However, we do not like to work from faxes and charge extra if
designs need to be redrawn (no faxes are "camera ready").
*Price as of this
posting. All prices subject to change without notice.
The better your artwork, the better, faster, and easier
(translate that to less expensive!) your design will be. The absolute best way
for logos is to send a vector (outline) file created by programs like Adobe
Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Macromedia FreeHand. Save the file as an eps and
don't forget to outline any fonts that are used in the design. Most logos are
created on a computer anyway so don't settle for a bitmap. Bitmaps must be at
least 600dpi at actual size. This means the design must be scanned or created at
that resolution. Gif file requires extra labor and tend to be expensive. WMF
files are optimum and perfered.
Don't have good artwork? We can fix that for you. Our artists
can create a design from just about anything. Fees are the same as digitizing
and estimates are free.
